1. How much are your individual UV tans?
All of our UV beds are level 5 and cost $1.50 per minute (up to 12 minutes) for non-membership tanning.
2. How old do you have to be to UV tan?
This differs state by state. In Florida and Georgia we require that you be at least 15 with parental consent. Pennsylvania have a state minimum tanning age of 17 with parental consent and New York requires that you must be an adult (18+ yrs) to UV tan.
3. Do I need to make an appointment for a UV tan?
At Zoom Tan all we only take walk-ins, so you can always come in whenever you are ready!
4. Do you have lay-down beds?
We only have Level 5 Stand Up booths at all of our locations.
5. Why do you only have stand-ups?
Zoom Tan uniquely offers only stand up tanning booths and it’s not just because you get a better, all round tan. Hygiene was Zoom Tan’s primary reason for eliminating tanning beds and exclusively using standup tanning booths! Tanning is a very physical activity. Most indoor tanners choose to tan naked and 100% of tanning customers are partially naked. We strongly feel that it’s not wise to expose so much bare skin repeatedly on the same porous surface used repeatedly by so many naked or partially naked people. 1. Will my skin look orange if I spray tan?

2. How long does your spray tan last?
Every individual is different and a spray tan’s duration can vary depending on your skin type, daily habits and lifestyle. Typically, spray tans last an average of 5 to 7 days.
3. How much is a single spray tan?
We have 3 different levels of spray. Our pricing varies depending on the level. Level 1 (dark) is $30, level 2 (darker) is $35 and level 3 (darkest) is $40. For membership pricing information visit our online store & member portal.
4. How old do you have to be to spray tan?
There is no age limit on spray tanning, we just ask that you are able to follow directions. NOTE: A government issued photo ID (passport, drivers license or state identification card) is required on your first visit so we can set up your profile.

6. What is the “procedure” for a spray tan?
When you come in to spray tan we recommend you do a few things before coming in. Shower, shave, and exfoliate (recommended but not necessary) so that you have clean fresh skin for the spray tan to go on to. Please do not apply any lotions or moisturizers on your skin as that can act as a barrier. We recommend waiting a minimum of 6-8 hours before you shower (rinse only during first shower) or get wet to make sure the spray completely sets into your skin. Waiting longer, if possible, is even better for maximum results.

Our spray memberships allow you the ability to spray tan for free once per day but there is no limitation if you choose to spray more. We do recommend, however, giving your spray tan enough time to develop between sprays so that you don’t end up with undesired, patchy results.

Although Zoom Tan is not responsible for lost or stolen items in the salon, we do have a lost and found at all of our locations. You are more than welcome to give us a call and we can see if we have what you’re looking for!
8. What kind of sales do you have going on this month?
Every day is different at Zoom Tan, so we will only know of sales going on the day of. Typically we will send out a text message when we have a sale going on.
9. Why am I not receiving the promotional texts anymore?
- There could be a couple reasoning’s behind this:
- 1) You may have replied “STOP” at some point to the text messages which will put you on our “Do Not Text” list.
- 2) Your phone number may not be verified.
- 3) You have not visited a Zoom Tan location recently. Our texts are based on purchasing history and you must visit us periodically to stay on the list.

10. How do I start receiving the promotional texts?
All of our current and active members/clients receive the texts. Just visit and try out a Zoom Tan location near you. The salon associate will take your information and create a customer profile for you. Once that is completed, you will be on our list to receive our regular coupons and promotions. You have to re-visit a Zoom Tan periodically to stay on the list.
11. Can I use my membership wherever I want or can I only go to where I signed up?
You are able to utilize any memberships or packages at any location in the USA!

We do not accept 3rd party credit cards for monthly memberships. However, you can pay for someone’s package, year, single visit or products as long as you are present with your credit/debit card.
15. Where do I go to cancel?
For your convenience all cancellations are handled online. Our cancellation link is found on our main menu under “My Account” or you can just click on the following link: Cancel Zoom Tan Membership. You can cancel the auto pay as early as 10 days after you join and can continue to use your membership for the remainder of the month.
16. Why am I having problems cancelling?
Most issues with cancellation are caused by unpaid balances or incorrect/missing contact information. Please be sure you have resolved all past due payments with Zoom Tan and be sure that your current information (license, phone number, etc) are up to date with what we have in our system. For client security reasons, we ask that you update your information at one of our locations. You will need to bring your drivers license with you. Once your information is corrected, you will be able to cancel online right after.
